How to use this tool
Choose 4 to 12 randomly selected words. The default eight-word phrase uses crypto.getRandomValues rather than Math.random. Each word is chosen independently from a fixed word list. Use a unique passphrase per account; length and the size of the list determine resistance to guessing. Do not use the result as a recovery phrase for crypto wallets.
Questions and answers
Are these wallet seed phrases?
No. They are not BIP39 phrases and should never be used as a crypto wallet recovery seed.
Is it safe to generate them online?
The code generates words locally via a secure browser API over HTTPS. As with passwords, keep the output private and store it safely.
